Hokkaido
It's been a while since I posted a blog and it was all about Okinawa, the southern part of Japan.
This time, I want to share with you my travel experience at the northern part of Japan which is Hokkaido.
Since I came here, Hokkaido is one of the places I have been wanting to visit. My wishlist are the following:
1st Hokkaido
2nd Hiroshima
3rd Kyoto
4th Osaka
5th Okinawa
Those were the places that I wished to visit since I came here. Fortunately, last August, I was given the opportunity to visit the very last place I haven't visited yet the 1st place written on my wishlist. HOKKAIDO!
We visited Sapporo, Otaru, Tomamu, Furano, Biei, and Asahikawa. It's been a very busy trip but it's all worth it. I love the place, the weather, and the food. Btw, I started to love the Japanese Scallops in Hokkaido. It's undoubtedly delicious! So much in love with it.
Sharing our pictures. Enjoy!
How to make Juicy (じゅーしぃ) an Okinawan Seasoned Rice
Hi there!
Last month, we had our company trip in Okinawa and I bought one of their especialty which is the popular Okinawan seasoned rice called Juicy. (by the way, I don’t know if it’s really spelled as Juicy tho)
This was my 3rd time in Okinawa and for a change I want to buy something new. So I decided to bought this Juicy thing at the souvenir shop.
So how to prepare “juicy”. (you need to put a little effort for this one. LoL!
What you need:
・3 cups of rice
(written at the back of the package)
・water
・rice cooker
・any utensils that can be use for mixing
What to do:
Actually, this is only same as cooking rice using a rice cooker BUT with a twist! haha!
So our 1st step is to wash the rice.
2nd: put 3 cups of water too
3rd: put the “juicy” mixture
4th: mix it with the rice
5th: ready to cook
6th: voila! our juicy is ready to be served!
(sorry for this picture, ‘coz I was really excited to eat this, I forgot to took a picture of it, so I just zoomed in and trimmed one of our picture!)
What’s my verdict?
This is a delicious one and definitely a good buy! I didn’t regret buying this but I regret the fact that I only bought one pack.
Our 2019 Company Trip (Okinawa)
Hello! It's been a while since my last blog. I just want to share to you guys what happened during our company trip two weeks ago.
Last June 11 to 13, 2019, we went to Okinawa for our company trip. Actually, our company is doing this annually for us to unwind, to release the stress from work, to have fun and to have a quality time with each other. This is the 4th time I joined their company trip. So, where did we go on my 1st three company trips? Here's the summary:
My 1st time : Kumejima, Okinawa
My 2nd time: Okuma, Okinawa
My 3rd time: Cebu, Philippines
Honestly, this is one of the things I like on my company, I think they also know the phrase "Work Hard, Play Harder".
This 2019 (my 4th time in joining the company trip) we went again to Okinawa, but this time, we stayed at Hotel Nikko Alivila Yomitan Resort Okinawa in Nakagami District. Hotel Nikko Alivila has its own private beach and pool that you can enjoy.
Let me summarize our activity during the trip:
1st day: We ate Okinawan noodles with spare ribs or commonly known as Soki Soba and we all enjoyed the private beach and pool of the hotel. We did have dinner outside to eat Okinawan Dishes.
2nd day: We had Western Cuisine (buffet) for breakfast and then 7 of us went scuba diving, 2 went snorkeling (but 1 of them cancelled)and after the activity, we ate lunch at Murasaki mura (an eat all you can for only 1000 Japanese yen), after eating some went to ride "Segway" and others (including me) returned to the hotel. I did experience VR and the relaxation pool of the hotel. One of us also experience the SPA services of the hotel. We did have BBQ for dinner.
3rd day: We had Japanese Cuisine for breakfast (buffet). We left the hotel early and buy some souvenirs for friends and relatives, we also ate lunch at the market as we always do whenever we're in Okinawa.
-----
For this year's scuba diving activity, I was really happy that the staff of the shop took photos and videos of us while we're under the beautiful sea of Okinawa. I played the videos and browse my album a number of times and until now, I am still browsing my album. Haha! We really had fun! I am so happy that they chose that shop for this year's activity.
Though we don't have much activity for this year's company trip. I'm still thankful that God gave us a cloudy weather instead of rainy weather. That's what made our trip special for this year! Haha!
I will share some of the photos. I’m not sure if I am allowed to post their pictures so to be safe, I will only upload mine. haha!

Appreciation Blog for my boss
22nd of May 2019: The Management Department (actually we're only two in this department. Lol) was invited by our boss to have dinner together as a reward for the past settlement period ended last 17th of May. Due to Japan's long holiday from 27th of April up to 6th of May, our work loads were also affected but still we made it as per our promised timeline with our clients. I believe that it's the "teamwork" that really helped us to achieve our goal. "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" !!! That's the word I said the day I figured out the breakdown of our account to the very specific details. Well, to cut this long story short. Yeah! We proudly made it. Moreover, aside from the past settlement period, my superior also did a great job preparing for the ISO inspection. Job well done for our team.
Thanks boss for the treat! (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)
Sharing some pictures of the foods and the place
Japan’s New Era: Reiwa (令和)
Japan’s New Era starts today, 1st of May year 2019.
A month ago, I was so excited to know the new era’s name. You know the feeling? I felt that I am waiting for the announcement of who will be crowned as the next Miss Universe and earlier today, I keep myself awake to wait for the start of the new era just like what I am doing every new year. I am so grateful that I am here in Japan to witness the 1st day of the new era.

Avengers: End Game
At last! Today, I was able to watched the last movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films which is the “Avengers End Game”. It was a 3-hour film and over all it was all worth it! Every scene has its own story to tell, life lessons, reality, and the likes.
We watched it on MX4D where our seat seems like massage chair on the entire movie! lol
Kidding aside, I think it is much better to watch it not by 4D but only 3D or just the Dolby Atmos. My reason? It is just that I always feel that I will going to fall from my chair anytime! haha!
I also bought some Avengers Novelty Items for me and for my friends.
P.S. as requested by the Avengers, I will not spoil it! haha! I want you to feel what I felt while watching the movie.
free stuffs.... our souvenir
MX4D glasses: maybe i like the design of 3D glasses compared to this. haha
Popcorn inside a plastic bag: because you can’t take the tray with you inside the 4D cinema. Yes! We were holding the popcorn while watching.
If you are carrying big bags, you don’t have to worry ‘coz they provide lockers for you to keep your stuffs for free. (deposit of 100 Japanese yen is needed, and you can take it back together with your stuffs)
Cherry Blossom Flower Viewing 2019
“Cherry Blossom Flower Viewing” or “Hanami” as what they call it, is one of the much awaited events yearly here in Japan.
Today, 31st of March 2019, my friends and I had Hanami at Toneri Park in Adachi, Tokyo. The cherry blossom trees there were not yet fully bloomed compared to the trees at Yoyogi park and Ueno park, but we were so relaxed because the park was not that crowded and we got nice place to stay for a while. I was also reunited with my highschool friends. Even for a short notice, they immediately accept my invitation. We ate Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki, Osaka’s takoyaki, Chicken barbeque, Sausage, Chips and a lot more. We played card games too like Old Maid and UNO cards. We laughed so hard and felt so relaxed.
